Looks like the serpent man is out of the bag so allow me to confirm. Yes, we are doing a Freeport Companion for Pathfinder.

Indeed it is true. It so happens this year is Freeport's 10th anniversary too.

Format-wise, will it be identical to the d20 Freeport Companion?

Is it going to be PDF or also in print?

What's the projected release date?

Yes, the team is basically taking the d20 companion and updating it for Pathfinder. It'll be print (softback) and PDF. We haven't set a formal release date yet but it'll probably be before GenCon.

That's handy; I'm running Freeport using Pathfinder right now! Mixing the Freeport Trilogy with the first part of Second Darkness AP.

One of the things I've done is to beef up the serpentfolk considerably. They were pretty weak individually even in 3e terms. I used the "degenerate serpentfolk" from Into the Darklands, they're like CR5, and they gave our level 2 party a heck of a time but once they hit level 3 they could take them.

I always felt that the ancient, dreaded race maybe shouldn't have 4 hp each...

What color is the cover going to be? I remember C&C was blue, True20 was green, d20 was red, 4E was kind of burgundy. Is it going to be brown like the pathfinder core book?
