This forum is for the discussion of Green Ronin's various campaign settings, such as Freeport, Thieves' World, Black Company, and the Mythic Vistas titles.

After I mentioned yesterday that I was planning to add a list of Freeport links on my errata/notes pages, I got a note from Nicole saying that something along those lines was on her wish list for the GR site revamp, but Evan could use some help compiling the list. So, here is a first draft of my list, presented here for your use until an "official" page is ready.

Just out of pure curiousity, what is Green Ronin's policy towards fan sites?

I mean, some companies don't want any fan sites, others want fans to use a copyright disclaimer, some could care less.

And what about the OGL? I think because the first three modules had the entire text as open content, a site could be based on Freeport as described in those works, as long as they use the OGL. But OTOH, they couldn't use 'Freetown' from Hell in Freeport, because it wasn't open content. But not being a lawyer, I dunno.

I second this question. A guideline on what you guys like and don't like on Fan sites would be great.

*bump*

Tim, any chance of updating this list?

Many of the links appear to be lost. Are your your files from geocities now available at your new site?

By the way a new Freeport Forum has been opened at the Piazza! :)

Material from my GeoCities site (which no longer exists) has been moved to a couple of wikis at Wikispaces:

Tim's RPG Errata & Notes

Dreams of Freeport (D&D 3.0/3.5 material. See The Ooth-Nargai Campaign page for the two adventures listed in my original post here.)

My latest wiki, the Unnamed Freeport project, has only D&D 4e and BESM 3e material. (GM-only material can be found through the tags list.)

Finally, I haven't re-checked any of the links I gave for material that wasn't mine. For any of those links that no longer work, I don't know where to find the material online.

ETA: I checked out the Piazza site and registered. So you should see me there from time to time.

Thanks for the links! I have compiled a collection of all the links I can find here.
