In the original version of this class detailed in an early "Focus on Freeport", the class got Superior Specialization with the cutlass or boarding pike, and the text said that this stacks with any existing specialization in that weapon.

In the hardbound, the class chart says "Superior Weapon Specialization", but the text seems to indicate that this is just the Weapon Specialization feat, with no mention of it stacking. Which is correct, the chart or the text?

Also, I'm personally thinking of opening up the weapon selection a little bit, to include: Cutlass, Boarding Pike, Belaying Pin, Boarding Axe, Gaff, and Rapier. Anyone else doing this?

The chart is correct. It should stack. I mean, if you are using a weapon that does d6 damage when you are 14th level, you need a little help.

Thanks Chris, that's what I figured.
