I don't think this would happen - other companies are using the GSL to release support, but unless the GSL goes completely open that level will never be what it was for OGL.
As for going Pathfinder instead, why not stick with 3.5? Personally Pathfinder has strayed too far from 3.5 to be considered any backwards compatible. And rather than Pathfinder maybe GR should focus on True20 or even M&M using Warriors & Warlocks for fantasy stuff. Or even go further and support Savage Worlds (there is already a Freeport Companion for it)? |
