Plans for the RPG

Postby Jon Snow » Mon May 07, 2007 6:57 pm

Very excited to here that the RPG has been picked up by Green Ronin.

I was wondering if the license is for a core book only or if there are currently any plans for an extended line of materials?

Thanks,
Jon

The license is for a continuing line, not just one book.

That's great news! There are a few of us hard core ASoIaF fans that will be hanging around prodding you for info (if you start a Game of Thrones forum we all seem to show up -- you know who you are :P ).

There seems to be a number of us from the GoO days lurking in the background. Were all excited about this.

Hey everyone! Has there been a rough estimate of when the game itself is coming out? Spring 08? Fall 08? Thanks Maester Luwin

Hey Maester Luwin! My understanding is that the Rule book will come out Aug. 08 while the setting book was said to be released Fall of 08.

I cannot tell you how much i want this gamr to get back into publication. Maybe we'll actually get a GM screen that is printed and available for purchase, instead of what ol' Mark left us.

publication plans

Postby Jon Snow » Mon May 26, 2008 7:01 am

According to the podcast posted on the front page, the plans are for four books a year for A Song of Ice & Fire!!

Sounds like great support from the folks at Green Ronin (I expected no less).

I've two reactions to this.

1. HUZZAH!

2. My poor, poor wallet...

Lol, well it cant be as expensive as the super deluxe edition GoO brought out. Cost me £75 with postage!

I'll buy these though as GR have produced some outstanding material for other lines.
