Yeah. Since the cancellation of Capcom World Tournament, I've been curious about this, myself.

The short answer is we've gotten a turnover from Tony and he and Chris met to go over some things at the GAMA Trade Show last week. We want some more work out of him, though, so we're just going to keep plugging away at DF until it's everything that we want. While that process is happening, there's just not that much to talk about.

This is good because it means there will be even more great stuff in the game, more details on the world, adversaries to fight, and all that.

I was curious about it *before* said cancellation (about which I've lamented on LRGames' message boards), but said cancellation did indeed fan the flames of my curiosity.

For some reason, I have difficulty considering a street fighter-esque game in True20, so I'm waiting for this... so... uh... any news?

They have DF listed in the new issue of Dragon for May release. Don't know how up todate that is though.

That would have been correct if Tony's final draft had been turned in according to the original schedule. Unfortunately, we had to ask him to do more work on the book (all for the better, though!) so we've had to push the release back again.

Disappointing, but at this point I'm going to have this game done correctly. We've been tinkering so long, there's just no sense in not taking every measure to make it exactly what we want. That attitude worked pretty well for us with Blue Rose (which ended up going through three development passes and two years of work...) and True20, so I'm not afraid to apply that standard to Dragon Fist as well.

Believe me, when there's something we have to tell about DF, you'll be the first to hear about it but if there's no announce ment, there's nothing to say.

I'm just jonesin' for a martial arts system, since I can no longer give LRG my hard-earned units of american legal tender for CWT.

As for it doing no good, maybe I'm just used to extended silences being the equivalent of "on hiatus... indefinitely" the way that LRG was unfortunately forced to. Even a report of "still working on it" indicates that the project isn't dead, ya know?
