Having trouble posting

Postby DnDChick » Sun Feb 26, 2006 8:19 pm

I'm trying to make a post here but I keep getting a "Page cannot be displayed" error unless the post I make is fairly short.

The post I want to make is a few paragraphs and returns the error page, but this post, obviously, made it through fine.

Is this a known issue with the boards, or maybe something at my end?

I just posted a four page paper I wrote and it worked fine (this is an edit of that message).

I even went down to making my post one line at a time, editing and re-editing to add new lines in order to see where the problem might be. I thought it might be a problem with my BBCodes or something.

If I get past more than a few paragraphs, I get the "page cannot be displayed" error.

Is this the messageboard's way of telling me I talk too much?

It must be something with the computer I am on. I've tried to make longer posts on a few other messageboards, and I am getting the same "cannot find" page.

What kind of connection do you have to the Internet? Dial-up, DSL, cable modem, or something else? Also, on those other boards, if you scroll down to the bottom are they running phpBB or some other type of forum software?

I think it is a PHP issue with the computer I was using.
