Thanks guys!
The bestiary started as a labor of love. Monsters and other beasts have always been one of my favorite aspects of any RPG. When I got the original True20 PDF I was blown away by this amazing new system, but the adversaries section was one spot I saw that needed a tad more work to suit my needs. So I started tinkering until I had a basic framework laid out for designing and creating my own creatures. From there I set about testing the system out with both my original creations and conversions of my favorite creatures in the SRD. I continued to test, edit and tweak the document until I was satisfied.
I definitely owe a big thanks to "HalWhitewyrm" a.k.a. Daniel Perez for encouraging me to publish my work and also for putting me in contact with the fine folks at Green Ronin.
I owe thanks to Chris and Steve for giving me a chance to make my mark on the True20 system, and for trusting me with some important development decisions and a large degree of creative license.
I also want to acknowledge Erica Balsley a.k.a "DnDchick" (whom you may recognize from her work on the Tome of Horrors books) for all the amazing work she has done so far, and continues to do as the book's editor.
For those of you who are chomping at the bit for some bestiary goodness, take a look at the newly expanded Adversaries section in the core book to see some examples of my handiwork. *insert evil grin*
Happy Gaming!
