Any Idea, Chris?

Any idea on which way you're leaning?

AD&D 3E (D20 Fantasy) Supplement? Or OGL Game (with, perhaps D20 Fantasy Conversion chapter)?

I don't want to say anything right now. If I say I'm leaning one way, within a week the internet will turn that into "Dragon Fist will be like this!"

Heh heh. True true.

Well, just do the right thing.

And when I say "right thing", I mean OGL.

I guess you're waiting for the word from your accountant on the sales of M&M then.

Iain.

OGL means never having to refer to someone else's books.

There are too many Vancouverites on this thread. I'd love DF to be compatible with my current D&D campaign - but I'm sure Chris will make the right decision for Green Ronin and the gaming community as a hole. I mean whole.

Well, if GR does that, at the very least they'll have a marketing angle and a tagline for the book's cover:

"Compatible with Toren's D&D Campaign"

Of course the tagline:

"OGL Wuxia Done Right"

Would guarantee two sales from posters on this thread alone.

Dewd! You're a marketing genius! You're absolutely right. GR could double (maybe even triple) their sales by ensuring that the game is completely incompatible with Toren's D&D campaign.

(Besides, isn't Toren's D&D campaign just off-the-shelf modules? I can understand why he's in dire need of some campaign flavour.)

Yes, 2 to 1 sales ratio for OGL vs. D20. Indeed what great market research this is!

And I hate to imagine what Toren's campaign would have been like had M&M stayed D20. ;)

Iain.

PS: We love Toren, honest. >:)

Not strictly restricted to "off the shelf modules", we're just going to finish all of them before we add in new stuff.

You guys are going to make me cry for Christmas.

Now it's back to 2 to 2. OGL and D20 are neck and neck as they aproach the starting gate!

OGL

Though I am pretty damn far south of Vancouver, add my name to the list of OGL supporters.
