Hopefully this is the right place for this.

Has anyone played this yet?

If so, are there any abnormal situations you have come across.

I'm demoing it at Dragonmeet in December, and as I haven't got my demo set yet, I'm asking if anyone has come across anything which will (probably) trip me up.

Having now demoed the game, I can honestly recommend it to anyone. It's great fun, especially with 5 players.

I just got the game when the cons I intended to demo it were over.

So I used the waiting time before our weekly game (we were still waiting if two of the 6 players were coming) and ran a normal game (to 30) with 5 people (me included).

While the first round was a bit disappointing (as NOBODY was able to beat even the "simple" 6-7 Power monsters) it picked up quite fast.

And just when you thought things were all clear an event like "Back from the Dead" turns everthing around.

Everybody had fun playing it and the 7th Sea game we had after that had LOTS of "references" to things that happened in the T&P game

I hope that it sells well enough so expansions (which give specific townfolk different bonusses or things like these) might come up.

I'll probably write a review after I played abother 1-2 rounds.

How about a single sheet download with a place marked for the Moor, one for Mod discards and one for Monster Discards? Should be a simple little thing to whip together.

This game is amazing! It's quick to learn and fast to play (unlike the possible 3+ hour battles of Magic with recycling decks) The artwork is wonderful, the rules are simple, and the concept is great! It's also really funny. I wish there were more heroes and townsfolk!

I acquired the game very recently, and have played about a half-dozen games so far. It seems to play best with more than 2, because there's more card interaction that way. But we still need to try it with more than 3 players.

I plan on introducing it to the weekly game night crowd--after the new baby (arrival imminent) allows us to start attending again.
