Long time...

It has been quite a while since there was any news of DF. I understand that there is a lot going on at GR, and I have certainly enjoyed much of what has already come out of GR. Maybe other things continue to take precedence over DF, well okay, in the long run I want to see GR do well so it keeps on going.

But how about a word now and then? Has there been any time to work on it? I would rather know that the writing will not start until summer 2005 than be kept in the dark. If there is actual work being done right now, so much the better... even if that work is a paragraph a day.

I may be diffeent from other people on this, but I would rather be told it might be out by xx/xx/xxxx and have that date revised as needed than have no date at all. Especially if valid reasons are given for changing that date

Especialy now that AEG has announced that they will stop putting out d20 Rokugan, it would be nice to have a good wuxia replacement for it.

Oooo, I know! I'll start a rumor that DF is goint to be the replacement for Rokugan in the revised Oriental Adventures, and that all questions should be directed here! (Just for the record, yes that was a joke...)

Sorry to hijack the thread, but...this is the second place I've heard this rumor. Where did they make this announcement? It's not anywhere that I can find on their website (and when they discontinued 7th Sea it was pretty prominent). Was it on the e-mail list? I haven't been on it for a while.

The other place I saw this was in responses to Steve Creech's thread on ENWorld where he said AEG wasn't producing any more of the one-word d20 books, and people extrapolated that to Rokugan.

Can't help you, that is where I heard that myself. Given the way the books have been losing quality, I shall not miss them
