Welcome to the Big City.

Chicago, circa 1920. A haven where the rich and powerful rule over the hard working people of the city. Where the decadent laud over the deprived. In the streets, politicians and gangsters vie for control, and hard-nosed police officers struggle to maintain a tenuous order. But even as violence and greed run rampant across the broad shoulders of the city, other hidden forces fight a much greater battle.

Against this backdrop, enter our heroes. Distinguished from the teeming masses by their unique backgrounds and abilities, each are slowly awakened to the knowledge that there is more going on behind the conflict between the factions of the city. A battle that will never make the front page of the paper, but one that must be fought for the future of humanity itself.

Im looking to join one campaign this summer. If you'd have a rather d20 newbie, I think I would like to join this one! I love pulps, the works of Lovecraft, and gangster movies (though I havent seen too many, sadly). I think this would be a great setting to play in.
