PDF Request: Freedom City Map [green ronin]

Postby arcady » Fri Apr 04, 2003 3:19 pm

I don't suppose we could get a PDD or jpg image of the map at the back of the Freedom City book for printing.

I love to make all kinds of in-play notes and drawings on maps as I go in a game... :yar:

That's actually a great idea. That way we can give the players copies of the map, and us GMs can write on it all we want.

I quadruple beg for this, I have been running my weekly M&M game since Christmas (we started after unwrapping them under the tree) and have been intending on including Freedom City in my game world but I wished to be somewhat consistent with it. So, while playing before it was released I had it be the victim of a super-villain's plot to make the world forget it ever existed. And though this worked, my all-too resourceful players jumped the release date by a few weeks and successfully destroyed the Inhibitor that was making everyone forget about it. So now I need a layout, some facts etc.... badly!

I have to go along with this. Yes, want a nice map image file to print out, and mark up. :-) Either a PDF or a good resolution JPG would be awesome.

I'd like this as well

I, too, would welcome the release of such a map.

Am I the only map addict on these boards? I'm such a fool. I buy those wretched old Marvel Superheroes modules purely to clap hands on those wonderful maps that came with so many of them. The adventures themselves couldn't entertain a coterie of low-IQ third graders (with the exception of Gates of What If?, as sensational a superhero scenario as any ever published), but the maps were colorful and varied.

I couldn't draw a map to save my life, so modules + map = purchase.

I don't have Freedom City yet (insert overwhelming angst here) but I also want a pdf map of the city. Hell, I stand a better chance of getting that than I do of getting the actual book. Plus, my love of map know no limit. I too have a lot of the old Marvel RPG maps still, and despite the wonky scale, I plan on using as many as I can with M&M. That and Heroclix figures.

Yeah me too. I've bought several adventures for systems I didn't even play just to get hold of some very cool maps.

Hey there,

I also vote for a pdf map before I make one myself.

And, no, I won't distribute it unless GR says so.

I think this would be a nice idea

but would I be the only one that think some other ideas would be cool too, like a setting shoots from the landmarks to give people a feel for it. Kinda describe and lay it out for them to help the players get into the mood.

Like Centurions Statue and some other things like Freedom Hall
