What are you running?

Getting ready to wrap up Madness in Freeport and was wondering what some of you other DM's have done with your players. we have all been through Hell in Freeport courtesy of another DM. Waiting for Tales of Freeport patiently, but..... :yar:

My group just wrapped up some playtesting for Tales of Freeport. I'm thinking of running them through the Banewarrens (as Monte and Sue were kind enough to give me a copy a few weeks back). Although set in Monte's Ptolus, it's pretty easy to adapt to Freeport and I just don't have the time to write adventures for home use on a weekly basis anymore.

One of our local DMs is going to run my group through Banewarrens, but in the meantime I plopped Rana Mor (from Dungeon 86 I believe) not too far from Freeport. If anyone wants to run it and they want some tips on my experience, email me thickets@uniserve.com

Is Rana Mor the adventure with the hot looking priestess and the tiger? If so I think I ran my crew through it already.

I've been running some adventures out of the Dungeon mag. The PCs made an trip to the mainland to participate in Blood on the Sand, representing FP's god of war, got involved in a recover-item-from-ruins adventure while there. Now there ready to head back to FP with a few tales under their belts.

I've been co-running a very early playtest of the Freeport Mega-Adventure, and I have to say I'm disappointed.

Thus far, I've only been able to kill one PC.

Rana Mor, Yay!

Postby Toothy Maw » Wed Apr 02, 2003 6:46 am

Heh, just finished Terror with a group of six players. Had to buff up the encounters quite a bit and just managed to fall (not kill) 2 chars (grumble).

By the way, I ran Rana Mor as well, very nice Module. However, I rn it for level 10 chars, with severe buffing of the NPC's (we are talking Elder Earth Elemental here :)
