Valdier, a couple people have asked me to change a few things. Once I've done that I'll send you a copy to post. This will hopefully be a tool a lot of people can use and enjoy.

Additional on my continuing failure to get this (otherwise lovely) sheet to work:

The check marks on the front sheet (down with the damage markers) work fine, in that they show a mark when clicked on (I don't think they actually DO anything though, do they?). The ones on the powers & devices section continue to fail to do anything...

Unless it's a problem with Excel 97 SR-1 being too old, I'm at a loss...

Today, I persuaded my boss that the reports I write for work on my home PC would look MUCH better written with Office 2000 rather than 97... I'm just home from work, 2000 is installed, and - voila!!! The sheet works.

So it looks like Excel 97 SR-1 WAS the problem (or at least my version of it...) !

Your sample sheet, most grateful though I am, hasn't arrived yet...

A few people have sent me suggestions on how to improve the sheet:

1) Add a feature to toggle Skill to Power Point Ratios...1:1 to 3:1
2) An experience point tracker, that updates your available Power Level and Power Points
3) A feature that allows new powers to be added


I've completed item #1 and I am working on item #2.

Thanks to the information that I learned in this forum, we discussed going to a 3 to 1 ratio for skills and our gamemaster approved of it. Could you again send me an updated character sheet so that I can submit a revised copy of my character to him? Thanks.

By the way, I don't know if anyone has made this suggestion, but could you modify the sheet so that the user can input in the value for weaknesses? Our gamemaster assigns different points based on how often the weakness should appear. For example, my character, Chi Lung, is vulnerable to dragon slaying weapons. The GM believes that if taken for the full 10 points, every thug on the street has access to a dragon slaying weapon of some type. He suggested 3 points for the vulnerability to justify that it is a very uncommon weakness.
