Damn I want that for the cover alone, and this is at the time when Robert WAS thin :P (or at the very least thinner)

I don't want to drag too much on it but for me Robert never was so thin. Thinner then "nowadays" yes, but I always pictured him as a "heavy" men, broad shoulders and body, always eating much.

Very nice. :) I think it has a much better look than the current cover which seems a bit "cartoonish" to me.

Ya,

Look's great!!

Since you posted a photo can you, once again i'm sure, give a brief summary of the fundamental differences between the GoT version and the original hardcover?

I just purchased all the books and published campaigns not even 2 months ago. I'm trying to get a handle on whether or not I'll half to pre-order come April

Thanks Man,

LM

Will the PDF be updated also? And will we get the update for free or have to buy it a second time (or most likely go without).

Hahaha that was awesome.

Can't wait for this I hope to pre-order in April. Will there only be a certain amount of copies printed or will they be replacing the books with the old cover? Just wanna make sure I don't forget to order and miss out on this!

This will be the new and established core book for our system. Not only has the errata from previous editions been incorporated, but we've also implemented a few changes (like adding the stock characters from Peril in King's Landing to the list of stock characters in Chapter 11, and changing up the Warg Benefits to reflect the increased information we've gotten as the series has gone on).

Once the Game of Thrones edition is released, we're also going to be releasing a PDF that lists of the changes between editions, a list that ate nearly a month of my existence as a developer. :D No promises on when we'll be releasing that, but my goal is to get it out as soon as is feasible after the GoT Edition.

Great cover. Is there any chance of this piece of artwork, and the one for the campaign guide, being released as posters or even wallpapers?

Yes, it's Robert's fight against Rhaegar Targaryen at the Battle of the Trident .

Love this cover, but more for flavour then for being realistic

The antlers on Robert helm would surly be a big disatvantage
if not way to heavy for him to wear and his enemies wouldd be able to use them to pull him down :green:
i find the warhammer to big and the rules say....its 2 handed....odd so actually i agree with the warhammer
as a one handed weapon, it way to unwieldy as represented here.

But its not a complaint like i said i love the art and the flavour it represents......it has a finality to it that fits the books. This kind of art is what could draw me to a game.
O villain, villain, smiling, damned villain!

Is there gonna be naval combat updated with this edition, or are you looking to add it later into another book?

@Carriker

Will there be equipment list(Mudane items, Costs of food provisions, Cost of Inns, etc...) added to Game of Thrones addition? I noticed there wasn't one in the original and pocket guide.

I typically reference the equipment list from GoT D20 book since it was pretty extensive and used the the same currency system. Its helpful for GM to have less to think about on the fly.
