Aura of Might & Arcane Warrior

Postby DracoDruid » Wed Jan 18, 2012 4:40 am

Hello everyone and short question:

Am I missing something, or is "Aura of Might" the only Arcane Warrior specific spell in Set 2?
Both Blood Mage and Spirit Healer have three special spells, I wonder why not the AW?

Thanks in advance.

Believe so. I'd assume more will come out in Set 3, or maybe the other abilities are considered "good enough".

Probably because Arcane Warriors are mages that focus on melee combat and so don't use as many spells. In the computer game they didn't have access to any unique spells at all, just specialisation abilities which focused on defence and combat.

Hmm... but they don't get the spell automatically, right?

That's... odd.

Spirit healers get the spirit healer spells for free, so it makes sense.

I dont believe they get it automatically.
Not realy as they could focus on other spells rather than the Aura, with their selections, it is just giving them an option to gain a different spell without actually giving them more spells they know.

And I didn't say they would. But it's odd that they have one single "unique" spell and don't get it.

It's not that special. Why didn't they make it an ordinary spell?

I'd say most likely due to that it fits the arcane warrior style more than anything, and I cant think of any other requirement one would put on it (accept maybe a melee weapon focus).

Though I see little issue in opening it up to all mages, though I'd add some requirement to it.
