Mistaken Identity

I just wanted to share a quick story about my group's last session. We're in Orlais hunting down the party's current Big Bad, a slave trader named Atilio. I THINK that's the only back-story you really need, but feel free to ask any question if you wanna know more. We're notoriously bad for filling out anything on the wiki other than the actual session log, so there's a lot of blank articles linked everywhere :p

I will note that Adric Baranti from A Fragile Web makes an appearance here. I don't plan to run A Fragile Web for a while, but I thought it would be fun to introduce him early as a student at the University of Orlais. My goal is to get Ashana (an 18-year-old female elf who has never shared a bed with a man) to fall for him, so that when his womanizing ways become apparent, it's even more biting. I won't be devastated if she doesn't fall for him, but it'd be fun if she did.

Short version:

Ashana gets the crap beat out of her by thugs and Adric finds her and takes her back to his home to care for her. The rest of the party tracks her to Adric's home. Ashana tells Adric that bandits attacked her, so he gets all suited up for battle. The party sees Adric come out of his home ready to fight and a fight ensues, each thinking that the other is the one who attacked Ashana. The whole thing ends in everyone falling out a window before realizing they're all on the same side.

Also, Elden (another member of the party) ran into Adric before all this happened and introduced himself as Atilio (not only to Adric but to a room full of university students). Elden didn't want to give his real name and Atilio was the first name that came to mind. So even after the initial fight calmed down, there was further confuse around THAT that needed to be resolved.

I am definitely going to have that last bit come back to bite the party in the ass. Since they're asking around town for Atilio, they're absolutely going to have leads that take them right back to Elden.
