Anyone interested in playing Dragon Age RPG Online?

I was wondering if is there anyone else interested in joining up to play DARPG online via some online tabletop rpg program of some sort... Also, we would need a GM, so...

Anyhow, if so leave your preference or opinion about a program, contact and disponibility so that we can figure it out, ok?

I am up for playing/running DA. I have used maptools and it works phenomenally with good prep time (for maps). Otherwise, it serves well for just putting tokens down for an instance of combat. It is the easiest to work with and it is computer OS neutral.

How many people are we talking?

I would not mind playing either. Just a matter of when more then anything else. Also another good site I found for this sort of thing is infrno.

As for playing I have created a Framework for Maptools which is about 60% complete. I has most of the rules built in for talents, and specializations, and I am currently making maps for "Dalish Curse" Module. If anyone has any exeprience with bug reports, and would like to try this, let me know, I can email it. It requires maptools version 1.3.b81 or later. I will also get an instructon manual out on how to use it. It Currently Tracks HP, MP, and Advanced tests. along with all stats, talents, and Class abilites. The only thing I have yet to input are backgrounds, races, and that sort of thing.

So, hirogawa and I added each other to Skype. We have some other folks interested. I am really good to go Friday night, Sat night (later), Sunday early. I am on EST btw. Can we get an idea of when folks would like to play and also when they could play?

For me the times I am mostly available as it stands is Mon, Tues, and Saturday evenings since most other days of the week I am doing some sort of gaming in the evening. Another thing too is I would have to get to a location where I can use decent internet and satellite would not cut it for something like this. The data allotment our service has per month on that just is not going to cut it. And I am also in EST.

I'd like to join if possible.

Evenings are best for me. I'm Atlantic time so I'm an hour ahead of EST. I could go Friday or Saturday night but not both. Sundays are out, I work in the morning and have another session I play in the afternoons.

I can use Skype but will have to monitor data usage.

Hmm...we have several folks outside of the US and A and with data concerns. Tell you what, I do not think Skype eats a lot of data bits and we do not need a virtual table at all; this is a throw back to old school game after all. Let's try this out on Saturday night, 2300 EST.

Has anybody considered doing a play-by-post (PbP) game here on the forum? They tend to have their own weirdness due to time between posts and such but PbP can be really fun. Just curious.

The question is really aimed at where people put their emphasis of character, fluff or rules. Nothing more than giving me a gauge.
