Just ordered it via amazon.co.uk - overseas import. :)

Can't wait to watch it. The reviews look rather good so far.

I watched it last night. Not too bad, not to bad. The Mages use very, very little magic...sort of disappointing. But, if you are a DA nuto like me, you will enjoy it.

Got mine from Best Buy yesterday and getting together with my gaming group to have dinner and watch it this Friday (and add in "Redemption" just for good measure). Excited :)

Got mine from Amazon yesterday, but not going to watch it until Sunday, cause that's Dragon Age day at our house :)

I did notice that it comes both in English and Japanese and that (at least in the previews), the lip-syncing matches with English. I wonder if the Japanese version also has proper lip syncing, which would explain why it's on two separate disks instead of just being a language option on one disk. That'd be pretty cool if they did that.

Heh, I noticed that too. I suppose this would be one of the advantages of CGI - once you have everything set up (backgrounds, general animation, etc) you can easily edit the characters' mouth-movements separately from anything else. :)

Watched it 3 times yesterday.
The Japanese cut is slightly different from the english. They have different dialogue, and take out a lot of the unnecessary English (short parts here and there that aren't really needed).
Overall I thought it was an awesome addition to the DA franchise. My granddad watched with me one time and said he had no problems following what was going on or anything like that, so it's a decent movie even if you don't know anything about the world.

We watched both "Redemption" and this movie tonight. I have to say I actually like Redemption better, but Dawn of the Seeker was decent enough.

There were parts were I was scratching my head and wondering about (like all those ogres & golems standing around waiting for her to attack or some of the unnecessary long moments of staring at each other or the star wars like ending), but still fun to watch.

Alright, the mail finally delivered Dawn of the Seeker and I got around to watch it.

As expected, there were some crazy stunts in there, but fortunately they aren't as numerous, nigh-universally limited to the protagonist, and lastly both Dragon Age computer games had similar stuff already. I enjoyed the story well enough, even though it once again made the templars look bad. The swordplay was pretty well done.

In terms of background information, I learned a few new things! Apparently, the Chantry clergy of Thedas has regional colour codes - Ferelden is orange, Kirkwall is red, Orlais is purple, ... Also, I now understand a little better why the templars were cracking down on the mages at the start of "Asunder".

What I liked in particular was the little snippet of lore at the beginning of the movie. Not only was this told and shown in the style of the computer games, it also explained better the relationship between mages and templars, clearly indicating that it has gradually transformed and degraded over the course of decades, if not centuries.

The final scene with Cassandra receiving that book from the Divine was also a very nice connection to her scenes in Dragon Age 2, furthermore hinting at new challenges and new tasks for her as well as the entirety of Thedas to overcome. I'd support a sequel - and/or Cassandra showing up in DA3.
