Lucky Feat and Toughness Saving Throw question

Postby Zulgyan » Fri Dec 02, 2005 11:41 pm

In the Feat table, lucky feats saws "Add your Cha score to your saving throws".

In Constitucion description it says Thoughtness is a SAVING THROUGHT. And also in other parts of the book.

Lucky feat description only mentions fort, will and ref.

Do you think it's an error, or that it was intencional?

For me toughness saves are not affected by the lucky feat. It's just the paladin bonus to regular saves from D&D.

The feat's full text always takes precedence over the feat table entry, which is by necessity less detailed. The text for the Lucky feat is pretty clear: it doesn't affect Toughness saves.

(And BTW, Steve Kenson has confirmed on the Blue Rose forum that BR's equivalent feat, Fortune's Favor, should also not apply to Toughness.)
