Crisis at Crusader Citadel character conversions

Since these two were asked for first, I will put them up first. Others will follow soon. These are just my thoughts on converting these characters, which may not agree with yours, but that's all right. Feel free to comment, though. I've done all my conversions at PL 10, just because.
And V&V does not have anything that relates to the Wisdom attribute, so I just made up numbers for it.

Mercury Mercenary

I'm worried that The Mercury Mercenary's combat speed is only 50'. His greatest advantage in combat was his ability to attack and basically be gone in the blink of an eye.

It's not much, but I did calculate the speed wrong. It should be 60 feet. With Move-by Attack this still makes him fairly dangerous. These translations won't be literal. And, to be quite honest, they have not been playtested. If anyone uses them, let me know how it turns out.

I've done some editing on Bull. I had to deduct 2 ranks from each of his Strength-based skills. I forgot that the Super-Strength gained by Density Control does not apply to skills. If anyone else notices that any of my calculations are off, let me know.

I have to go away for work for the next three days and won't have access to a computer, but when I return I will post the other six Crushers and maybe even the Crusaders.

Vulture - should have he disturbing weakness. He's a freak! :wink:
He was the fastest flyer, so should have had a couple of sprint-doubles.

Does anyone have any issues of the V & V Comics?
I remember they had some updated versions of characters in the back of the issues.

Anyways it was revealed in the series that the Shrew died when she was attacked and killed by a couple hundred rabid shrews. She was replaced by a mysterious woman named Huntress who I believe was actually the Shrew, Sheila Brewster only undead ala The Crow.

I'll see if I can pull out those issues (Written by Jack Herman and penciled by Jeff Dee of course so it was considered canon)

Never realized that they had V&V comics. I only ever got the Revised Edition and never saw any of the other stuff available. All they adventures I ran were with villains I either took from comics or came up with myself.

Was a one time mini-series in the 80's. 3 issues I think. Based loosly on the Crisis at Crusader Citadel.
Was full of comments on superhero standard weirdness. Such as: The villains decide to try and kill the two NEW heroes (in a death trap) in the hope that they are too new to come back from the dead. Like everyone hows famous always does. The villain Mace, didn't really think it was going to work. >:)
One of the young heroes (Shatterman) can be found at the bottem if Covers and Adverts.

Anyone have Dr. Apocalypse and the Destroyers info? Anyone feel like they could convert that over? I'm working on Force and a few other ones ...

Thanks for all your hard work on the conversions. I had just started the process on the same characters, when I noticed your great work here. I may change some stats just to keep my players guessing, but will be relying heavily on your conversions for my game. I will post again here in a few weeks after my players deal with those dastardly villains!!

Sketchpad-

I am currently working on some other V&V conversions, and will post them here (without backstory, etc., just as Mouthymerc did, to encourage folks to buy the module for the details!)
