If I may ask, what didn't you like about it? I'm always open to creative criticism and ways to improve my sheets :)

Not to but in here, but I think that SP is looking for some constructive criticizm. You are looking for a Character Folio, he has one, but you don't like it. I may be mistaken, but I think he wants to know what YOU think would make it better. He wants to improve on his work and is looking to you for a bit of advice. Help a brotha out. :D

Sketchpad, if you can give me a more exact URL, I'll take a look at it and provide you a quick review. It won't be as comprehensive as most of my reviews, but I'll let you know what I think.

Got it and I'll take a look and give you my thoughts. For those seeking to download it, you might need to right-click the link and "Save As..." It wouldn't let me view it online, but saving it first worked for me. I did visit your site though, Sketch. Nice artwork! I especially like the pic of Cutter (big EQ fan).

Capsule Review
Sketchpad's M&M Character Folio

Overall, looks pretty spiffy. The sheet is attractive and makes good use of available space, without seeming too crowded. Benefits provided by Extra Effort and Hero Points are listed right on the first page, which is a really nice touch. There is space to list two different attacks (usually a ranged and melee) and two different defenses, which should be sufficient for most characters. Most everything that you would need to refer to during a session is right there on the front, making it readily accessible.

The second page has plenty of space for listing feats and powers, movement rates, weaknesses, and carrying capacity. Gadgets, and other gear are logged on the third page. The fourth page is reserved for character details (height, weight, appearance, picture, etc.). There's even a space for the character's first comic book appearance! In fact, if you were to print only the first four pages, you'd have a very detailed character sheet that would be fine for most any campaign.

Then Sketch goes the extra mile, providing four more sheets that are designed for extended campaign play. On page 5, there is space to record all of the character's team members (including the character's name, player's name, and a space for notes) and a brief description of their headquarters. Page 6 is an adventure log, perfect for keeping track of the villains your hero has faced. Page 7 is an experience tracker, designed to help you remember at what point in your career your Strength went to 20, or just when you discovered you could fly. Finally, page 8 is reserved for notes.

The sheet is designed with an eye towards economy. It's largely black & white, meaning that it won't cost you a fortune to print it out. Only the logo on the front page has any color, which means that you can copy it in and not lose anything. The border design is attractive and adds to the pages without being obtrusive.

If I were to suggest a few changes, they would be:

1) The logo. I don't know, it just doesn't do anything for me. It's nothing I can put my finger on, but I just feel that it's lacking pizzaz. I know you can't use the official logo, but maybe a jazzier font?

2) I don't think there's any need for a space for the player's names in the "team" section. That space could be better used as part of the notes area.

3) One thing I felt was missing was a "supporting cast" area, where I could list the name and descriptions (maybe even stats) of non-powered individuals that were part of the character's backstory. Maybe move the "history" block from page 4 to a page of it's own (expanding the "powers & tactics" block") and combine it with a "supporting cast" block.

Score: 4 out of 5 power punches

Wow ... thanks for the review and kind words John :) I'll see what I can do to improve the sheet from your suggestions :)

BTW - my wife's a big EQ fan as well, one of the reasons why I drew that up ;)
