Go under your profile, and check to see if you can see your avatar, or if its a (trying to remeber) a red 'X' (I think).

If its a red 'X', the pic is there, but too big.
I'm not mrobviousjosh or DocObvious, just some other guy. Obviously.

Oh, ok.

Gut check. Is this picture hosted on a website, or is it off your harddrive? It needs to be on a website for us to see it.

I'm getting a 403 error: not authorized.

You may have logged onto this site at one point, and have cookies that allow access to it. That could be why you would have authorization, and would be able to see everything ok, while we couldn't.

Aaaaargh. Okay, I give up. I don't own my own site so I can't host the pic myself. If people see it, then cool, if not then blagh.

One workaround would be to set up a yahoo id, and post whatever pic you want as your portrait, and then link to it. I know a few people that do this, and it seems to work fine, but i've never tried.

I have a web-site with more space than I need. I can host it for you.
