Seeing the results on EnWorld made me dig up some reviews of M&M. the result...I went out today and picked it up. And I can see why it took home the Gold.

Congratulations! M&M is the smartest RPG I've come across in a long time. It's fun and just as important, it's professionaly designed. Super Unicorn also deserves a lengthy round of applause for the excellent design as do the illustrators.
Thanks for taking comics and this RPG genre seriously. You had my votes.
