I don't know - would a fully cartoon style like that be more desirable?

I could actually do a separate model in that style. However the painted effect would be difficult to capture and still have variety.

I love love love the Bruce Timm style, as I mentioned earlier. As far as colour goes, just doing true colours ala Hero MachineII would be fine.

Maybe having the animated style as an option, SuperStar.

Another animated style character. Thomas Mason, aka Tempest.

Hey SuperStar, you put Athena up...thanks for taking the time to draw her for me. :D

Now the question is, "When are you planning on starting that Pbem of yours, and have you chosen the players yet?"

What's the description? (not a promise ;))

Should start this weekend - hope to get everything together. I have a handful of characters to go through but there is prob still room for a couple more.

Eheh. It's that guy over there ««« :)

The color scheme can also be found here.

And that's a force sword (the strike power) he generates from his force field.

Ah, so those are white costume areas? Not metal? For some reason I thought they were metal.

Which is your favorite pose for DC Style?

No, no!

Some of the parts are metal! The shoulders, the fore arms, the leggings, and the simbol are all metal, but they have white underneath them.

Here you can see my Avatar remarkably portraied by Voodoo Dolly.

As for the style, I think Heroic Male fits best.

And thank you in advance for your interest (even if you end up not doing it)!

Really? In that case, if you get the chance, I'd love it if you tried my character, the Templar. It's a really simple costume design, but Heromachine can't do it, and I have zero artistic talent myself.

(The character is basically an Original with Arthurian overtones - he's strong, he's tough, he flies, and he got his powers from the Holy Grail. He's tall, blond, and wears a featureless black bodysuit, with a white tabard marked with St. George's cross.)

Oh I like the style of these pics a lot. VERY cool and well done. Possibly (once I get him fleshed out a bit more) you can make one for my telepath/telekinetic Synapse?

Either way, kudos on the nice pics!

Sounds cool - I might give it a shot. No promises.

Thanks! Possibly I could, but I'd at least need a description. :D

Geez, maybe I should just do character portraits instead of working on my portrait maker... :green:

No promises required. It'd be cool, but if you never get around to it, no worries.

That's amazing stuff, SS! If you're taking requests, it'd be great to see a char I've developed, the Shimmering Samurai, in Timm-style. He's a martial artist that has light control powers that he uses to create a hard-light katana. The athletic male template would probably work best. Many thanks ahead of time if you get a chance to get around to this.
