So, might there be a chance that we will see something soon? Say...maybe tonight? :green:

K, here's 4:

They show some of the bodysuit textures as well as the beginings of clothing. I am currently focusing on finishing all the programming before bringing in more elements.

hey SuperStar, not to nitpick with your awesome work, but is there any way in the program to change the background?

specifically to a flat white background as opposed to the current color gradation. a flat background would make it a whole lot easier to cut & paste from a screenshot into another image. :)

thats one of my biggest complaints about hero machine... some of the pics, you can change the background, but not all, so i have to do it..lol

Oh yes. :) Nothing I'd actually use in those combinations, just tried choosing a wide variety of options.

No worries - I actually would like as many constructive requests as possible. I did plan for a background - specifically you could choose a color (standard 256) or a picture. Pictures would be in the same style not real photos like I've seen elsewhere. And also a foreground such as mist, light, rubble, etc. That's really why I think of it as a portrait maker. In addition, you will be able to move your pic a bit and adjust it, such as zoom in on the face, etc.

Flash - same as Hero Machine. So it will be available over the web or as a download.

Nice thing is it's all vector art so you can expand the flash movie and get a larger picture.

Woah!

Awesome!

I've got to say, the thing that impress me the most is the degradee on the colors!

It's such a breakthrough from the traditional hero machine stuff it makes me want to go over there and slap you silly for not giving us a preview of Paladin done in your machine.

Again: are you going to comercialise this?

Thanks, everyone! :green:

I'll have some more shots later today I think.

The initial fully-functional version will be absolutely free. I might then release additional character models at a small cost (like $2 or something) or expanded character models which add additional options to the existing models (again for a small cost). I am alternately considering some sort of club membership (for a small cost per month, again like $2) that would not only give you access to new model releases but also the option of requesting a certain number of customizations per month. This option would probably also include web storage to save your characters in a database and a personal gallery for members where they can put up sort of a minisite to show off what they have made without needing to have a webhost (and no annoying ads on my host ;) ).

Those are my initial thoughts - not concrete plans - but it's all possible. I really don't intend to make any money off this or anything like that, but it does take quite a lot of my time to do this.

I am also considering documenting the model structure for those who know flash mx and would like to build their own models. This option would also require custom figure artwork to create the model, but hero machine (for example) uses a lot of clipart that anyone could grab.

If I revise the base engine to allow for new types of customization that would be completely free for download/use.

Would this minisite option allow us to design our own webpage? It sounds good so far, can't wait for the initial release. :D

This option sounds really cool. I love flash, and would like to make my own models...I have no artistic ability but it still sounds fun! :green:

Sounds pretty intersting. For those of us who have their own sites, any plans for a links page to them? I'm planning to move the Demented Dojo from Tripod to either TotalPort's servers or set up my own server at home.

These shots look great Superstar!

I would definitely play a small fee for new models, etc...
And if I had the capability to add my own stuff into the program...that would just be even better :)

Thanks all! Links and design-your-own are very possible - really depends on what people want. Here's two more screenshots:
