Need some help with the dc rpg

ok i bought the book and have just got done reading it.I love it and cant wait to start playing.But there is one issue i ran into and that is how does health work and how do u know what each person's health is.Can anyone help me

Health is kept track of as degrees of modifiers, there are no hit points to track. I suggest you re-read the damage and injury sections.
