SECRET COLLEGGE OF NECROMANCY:Spell avaible

I have a question.
If my necromancer find a scroll or a grimoire of another mage what type of spells he can scribe on his magic book( and use). Only the spells of his list?
or he have the disciplines limits of the necromancer specialist in D&d?

Well, I'm one of the authors of SCoN, and though the book is from about 8 years ago, I'm happy to take a crack at it.

The necromancer should be able to use only the spells of his list. The class is meant for NPCs more than for player characters, though, so if you wanted to run him as a powered-up NPC, you can do that using the disciplines limits of the necromancer.

Using your answer i'm thinking to give him the chance to obtain only the necromnatic spells so he wiil not be too much poweful but with a more wide array of option.
