I got this pm from a brand new member today.... Looks like phishing to me.

If you receive such a PM, please don't click on the link.

Also, if you post something about a Phisher, make sure not to post the link they PM you. Please do make sure to send me a PM @ SassyRonin with the Phishing account's name, because that notifies me via email and I can react quicker.

These PMs are being sent by "Phishing" accounts that are signing up (probably real people clicking past the Human Test, but it could be automated). I don't know what would happen if you click the link, but certainly not something you want to have happen to your computer. Likely it leads to a web page designed to make you think your computer is infected, with something to click that leads to Bad Things happening to your machine.

This particular account is now banned. Such accounts might well crop up again. I'm planning a forum upgrade that will hopefully make their job harder.
