from a "LadyXAdmin".

I find this highly suspicious. A virus alert was noticed on my computer? Yeah, right.

I just got that same message, but my link had my userid instead. Looks like some kind of a phishing attempt. Don't click the link as it will confirm your account name for that site.

Forthermore, my own company blocks access to that site (antivirus.effectmeds.com) and lists it as a known malicious site.

Yeah, I suspect it was phishing. If the admins don't see this by tonight, I'll ring up NickChick on facebook.

I got this on a completely different forum, but the PM was from the same username. As a precaution I changed my password on my account.

Just wanted to thank everyone who let us know about the phishing PMs. Evan's been on the case securing the boards. We do appreciate you letting us know when you notice things like this.
