I'd thought I was Grokking the magic system as working like this:

Character has x number of Known and Familiar Spells. He can cast these spells as many times a day as he desires but takes damage as the Price. Seemed fair enough.

But the Classes section of the Players Guide keeps referring to getting Bonus Spells per Day as in D20.

Does this just mean they get bonus known spells at the level indicated for the bonus Ability or are casters actually limited to how many times a day they can cast spells?

Am I making sense?
