Whatever happened to Dark Deeds in Freeport?

Postby timemrick » Fri Sep 07, 2012 5:33 pm

In a couple more months, it will have been two years since Kobold Quarterly met its patronage goal for developing an Open Design Pathfinder adventure, "Dark Deeds in Freeport," but I can't find any further reference to the project on the KQ website. I couldn't afford to be part of the project but--unsurprisingly to those who know me here!--I was very keen to see the result. Could Pramas-sama or one of the patrons give us an update on Dark Deeds' status?

Tim,

There have been some delays, but the project is moving forward. It's just taking longer than expected.

It's currently in my hands to pull through development. Long story.

It's moving along, though slowly, as my attention has been on the Midgard Tales project. Thanks for checking on this. It's not dead.

I don't mean to preempt Christina on this, but I will say that the manuscript has been turned over to the editor. Despite the setback, things are moving close to a finish.

The manuscript is now being sent to Green Ronin for approvals. Assuming no major changes are required, next step is layout.
