Massive Product Update

Life is a desperate attempt to make order out of chaos, or so we tell ourselves here at GR HQ. We thought it was about time for a massive update on our assorted projects, so here we go.

Arcana: Societies of Magic: This should be going to the printer next week. If the printer gods are with us, it should hit at the end of November.

D20 System Character Folio: This baby flew out of the warehouse so fast we already have to reprint. We decided, however, to make the reprint even better. Check out our snazzy new cover, courtesy of the talented Kyle Anderson (click the image to expand). The insides are also getting an upgrade, to make the folio even more user friendly. The reference charts are moving to the inside cover for starters, to make more room for handy features.

Freeport: The City of Adventure: Here's where we fess up about Freeport being late. Right now it's looking like a late January or February release, due the restraints of hardback printing and the holiday season. We could rush it out early, but we really want this book to sing. Freeport put us on the map and we want to be good to the first name in fantasy cities. We hope you bear with us. We promise the wait will be worth it.

Armies of the Abyss: We are still aiming for a January release for Armies,
which ironically may put it out before Freeport. You simply can't hold back hordes of demons, so we aren't even going to try! We have lined up some killer artistic talent for Armies, to ensure a worthy sequel to Legions of Hell. Joining Legions alumni Sam Wood, Raven Mimura, and Toren Atkinson are Brian Despain, Tom Baxa, and Drew Baker. Can you say evil? We knew you could.

Spaceship Zero: SSZ is in editing right now. We'll have more news for you on a concrete release date soon.

Oh yeah... Happy Halloween!

Green Ronin Online Store!

We have been busily tinkering away at our online store, and now seems as good a time as any to tell you about it. You'll find the store at http://stores.andale.com/GreenRonin, and once there you'll find all our products you know and love plus three special items: a black t-shirt with the sporty Green Ronin samurai logo; a white t-shirt featuring art from Madness in Freeport; and The Bundle From Hell, featuring Hell in Freeport and Legions of Hell together at the special price of $30. We're still working out the details on sales outside the United States, but Wizard's Attic is very happy to help out our international customers.

Please visit our new online store and let us know what you think.

Terror in Review

DevA chAOs oF [ed.: ???] has posted a review of Terror in Freeport on d20reviews.com, giving it 5 out of 5 stars. "If you like intrigues, Terror in Freeport is a must-have."

You can also read DevA's review of Death in Freeport while you're there. "It just runs smoothly from beginning to end, the detective part is designed to lead players to success without leading them them 'by the nose', it's fun to play and offers a decent plot which is the perfect starting ground for something bigger..."

Stop it--we're blushing!

Yet Another Experiment Gone Horribly Wrong?

Or maybe someone's Photoshop license just needs to be revoked. In reality, as much as we like Halloween, we haven't created a three-eyed flesh golem. But we did just post some pictures of the three Green Ronin prize winners from this year's LG ReCon 2, courtesy of creativemountain.net.

Game Industry Disaster Fund Auction

Green Ronin is supporting the efforts of the Game Industry Disaster Fund Auction with some of our products. If you point your browser to the GIDFA (http://www.gidfa.org/auction/index.php), you can bid on our items or anything else that strikes your fancy. All the money goes to help the victims of September 11. Right now you can bid on a lot with all four Freeport adventures (with Death autographed), and on a cool bundle that teams up the AD&D Guide to Hell and our own Legions of Hell (both signed). Chris Pramas has also put up the Slavers adventure for AD&D (signed by both authors), which he co-wrote for WotC a few years ago.
