ENWorld Servers Down

Morrus of ENWorld wrote to say:

EN World has been down for the last 18 hours or so. The reason for this is that the server host (who also host Mortality.net, amongst others) is having what they refer to as an "upstream equipment failure". They are working on the problem, but are currently unable to give an ETA as to when things will be running again.

Two New Spaceship Zero Reviews

Two print publications feature reviews of Spaceship Zero.

The Gaming Herald, vol. 1, issue 3 gives SSZ an "A" rating. An excerpt: "Spaceship Zero is a clever and decidedly well-balanced game. The background is the stuff of sci-fi's early days, where half your problems were solved with a right cross and any half-assed gobbledygook would solve the other half. Creatures are larger than life with tentacles and digestive sacs. The gee-whiz, gosh-bang technology all starts with "space" or "atomic" and your computer is big enough to have its own quarters. The artwork and graphic design are awfully nifty too."

Issue 26 of Valkyrie (from the UK) also gives SSZ a glowing review. "I must admit, when I picked this game off the shelf in my local shop, I was instantly struck by the idea behind it. This, to me, was science-fiction adventure of the highest order! And I wasn't alone. When I gave my regular gaming group a description of Spaceship Zero, I was told I was running it the next week, or else."
