Product Updates

We have posted the official covers for Noir and The Black Company Campaign Setting.

Blue Rose has suffered several last minute snags, including the editor getting into a car crash. These have contributed to Blue Rose not getting to print this month. At this point the game would hit just before Christmas, which is in fact a terrible time to launch a new game. We have thus reluctantly decided to push Blue Rose into January. In the interim, we will continue to preview the game and we'll be offering a fast play demo PDF soon. We apologize for the delay but we are confident that the final book will be worth the wait.

Finally, we have some product status updates (as seen above in "Green Ronin Goings-On"):

Egyptian Adventures: Hamunaptra has shipped to distributors and will be in stores next week. The Advanced Bestiary has arrived in the US and is heading cross country to our warehouse. Noir and The Black Company Campaign Setting have gone to print. SpirosBlaak and the Terror in Freeport Revised PDF are in layout.

The Black Company Campaign SettingThe Black Company Campaign Setting Designer's Journal: Blood, Grit, and Ravens

We have a new feature on the site: The Black Company Campaign Setting Designer's Journal. In it, our d20 System Line Developer, Robert J. Schwalb, discusses the ins and outs of taking the gritty, bloody fantasy series by Glen Cook and transforming it into a campaign setting for the world's most popular roleplaying game.

In the first installment, posted now, Robert writes about some of the challenges he and his design team faced with The Black Company, some basic tweaks to the d20 System, and leaves us until next time with a new feat: Knife Trick.
