November Focus on Freeport Available in--November!

That's right, folks--we managed to get back on track with Focus on Freeport, and have Part Two of Jeff Quick's Freeport-based d20 Adventure, Deus Ex Machina, to prove it.

Coming up very very soon: A Sneak Preview featuring art from Armies of the Abyss! Keep your browser tuned right here to GreenRonin.com, because the art for our upcoming third monster book is an Abyssal success, and we want you to see it.

Freeport in Arcanis

Our good friends at Paradigm Concepts have recently released their big world book, Codex Arcanis. Freeport fans looking for a new world may want to check Arcanis out. In additition to being a nicely detailed fantasy world with a very interesting take on divinity, Arcanis is the first published world to include the City of Freeport. Thanks to the Open Game License, Paradigm was able to put Freeport into Arcanis as part of the Pirate Isles (a perfect fit, if we do say!). They even hired Madness in Freeport author Bill Simoni to write the Pirate Isles chapter and Bill did an excellent job meshing the histories of Arcanis and Freeport. Congrats to Paradigm Concepts and Bill Simoni on a job well done!

"October" Focus on Freeport Posted

Yeah, we know it's November. To try to make up for not putting out a Focus on Freeport last month, we've created the Player's Map of Freeport. It's perfect for handing out to your players and making them feel like they know their way around the city.

Arcana is at the Printers!

It's true--we're not slackers after all! Just doing a lot of things at once. Arcana has been sent to the printers, and we expect it to hit store shelves shortly before Christmas. Remember, if you preorder Arcana: Societies of Magic through our online store, we'll ship it to you as soon as it's available.

We're also working on Focus 12 (part 2 of Jeff Quick's Freeport adventure, Deus Ex Machina), a Web Enhancement for Jade Dragons & Hungry Ghosts, and a Players' Map of Freeport--all of which are free to you! And of course we're also plugging away at several books. This is a great time to be a d20 System player and a Freeport fan!

Spaceship Zero Art Stolen!

The Darkest of the Hillside Thickets are back home from their Canada-wide tour, and lead singer (and ubiquitous Green Ronin artist) Toren "MacBin" Atkinson has a report for us. Beware... It includes a wicked tale of some nasty losers with nothing better to do than break into vans and steal sketchbooks...

Hell in Freeport and Jade Dragons Reviewed

  • Hell in Freeport
    On rpgaction.com, "Bobodude" writes:
All in all ... Hell in Freeport is a very good adventure supplement, with the sum of pluses far outweighing any flaws that exist: easily one of the top five d20 adventures I’ve seen to date.

  • Jade Dragons & Hungry Ghosts
On d20reviews.com, house reviewer Psion (Alan Kohler) writes:
In general, the artwork is excellent and the ideas are very good. Anyone planning an Asian style campaign should definitely consider this book, as it expands nicely upon the creature selection presented in the Oriental Adventures book.

LeValet.com also has a review of Jade Dragons posted. Just click on the link on the left side of their d20 System Reviews page.
