Bastards & Bloodlines Art Preview

We've put up an art preview of Bastards & Bloodlines: A Guidebook to Halfbreeds for your viewing pleasure. It includes illustrations of the blinkling, half gnoll, and half vampire, drawn by James Rymon and Toren "MacBin" Atkinson.

Mrs. Webmaster

In completely unrelated news, the Webmaster's gittin' hitched today and then heading off to Parts North for about a week, so unless somebody else remembers how to update the site, check the forum for the latest Green Ronin news.

Plot & Poison Web Enhancement!

Yes, drowlets and drowlings, now it's even easier for you to play an offshoot of your favorite underground-dwelling, pointy-eared, cunningly evil race. With this Plot & Poison Web Enhancement we bring you PHB-style racial trait writeups for four subraces of the drow: aquatic drow, drey, spiderlings, and vulpex. This is more fun than roasting gnomes on a spit!

Twin Helpings of Evil!

And by "twins" we're referring to two new d20 System sourcebooks, one for our Races of Renown series, and one for our Master Class series. The first is Fang & Fury, the guidebook to vampires. Of course your GM won't let you play a vampire, so we bring you the vampire scion, a cool new race balanced for play with the conventional PC races. Fang & Fury is scheduled for a May release.

The second is the Unholy Warrior's Handbook. In Aaron Loeb's The Book of the Righteous we introduced the Holy Warrior, a customizable take on the paladin. With the Unholy Warrior's Handbook we cover the other end of the alignment spectrum, allowing you to create an anti-paladin. Unholy Warrior's Handbook is scheduled for a June release.

Props to Freeport Denizens Keith Baker and Bill Simoni!

Wizards of the Coast announced the winner of its setting search this week. The lucky designer was Keith Baker, who beat out more than 10,000 contestants. What does this have to do with Green Ronin? Well, Keith was also the most prolific contributor to Denizens of Freeport, which recently showed up on retail shelves. Sounds like a week to remember. Congrats, Keith!

Speaking of Denizens of Freeport, a regrettable oversight has come to our attention. William Simoni's credit for the character Fargas Ironfoot was inadvertently left out of the book. Bill is the author of Madness of Freeport and an upcoming Freeport adventure in the first issue of EN World Player's Journal, and we owe him our sincerest apologies for this gaff. Green Ronin believes in credit where credit is due, and we're sorry this slipped through the cracks.
